Email Notifications

Understanding how to set up email notifications for your facility.

Your facility's email notifications are split into two groups: visitor email and check-in alerts.

Under visitor email, you can turn on a check-in confirmation that goes straight to the visitor once they finish checking in, separate from whether they receive their signed NDA copy.

Under check-in alerts, you can decide independently whether facility admins get notified, whether the selected host gets notified, or both.

If you'd like to personalize what visitors and hosts see, turn on "Add custom message to NDA email" or "Add custom message to check-in alert" to reveal a subject and message editor for that email.

You can drop in details like the visitor's name, company, visitor type, citizenship, host name, check-in time, or facility name, and they'll be filled in automatically when the email goes out.

If you leave a custom message turned off, GroundControl sends a sensible default version of that email instead, so you don't have to configure anything to get started.
